When one person's livelihood changes, it can impact an entire family, then a whole community.
All out livelihood and empowerment programs are tied around working towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 (Ensure Gender Equality) and also SDG 1(No poverty), SDG 10(Reduced inequalities) and SDG 8 (Decent work and Economic growth) at a contextual level of the Cameroon society and at a local level of the South West Region and Fako Division in particular.
CADEF’s Livelihood and Women’s Empowerment area of intervention spreads over several goals of sustainable development and the Cameroon government’s development agenda of Vision 2035, and therefore gives the government the responsibility to strategically work with grass root NPOs that are directly involved in the implementation of its agenda in local communities especially in the domain where this strategic plan is focused. As part of its own contribution to the realization of the global and national agenda in this domain and in the face of exclusive and conflict ridden society.
